Learn to sell before you learn to build.

Some tech that would disconnect from tech periodically. The constant stimulation with the brain does not give enough time to ponder, plan and prepare.

Don't know whether misconception or not but I have learnt that content marketing is tied to SEO and is the long game. You cannot expect quick ROI for it. But if done correctly, it can give many fold returns in the long term. And it has to be good quality content, otherwise you do get penalized by Google/Youtube/Content platform of your choice

When you are building in public, what does a launch even mean?

Being out there in front of the eyes of target audience. I don't think there is any competitive difference between all popular products in any category. The difference is how they segment their audience and reach out to them. That determines the success of one over the other.

At this stage, for me, not giving up looks like a big win! I come from a technical/development background and marketing and outreach is such a different ballgame. Unlike programming, here everything is fluid and continuously changing. There is no fixed path, no fixed outcome for the same effort... it all appears to be voodoo art.

People signing up for waiting list is a big motivator. I get email alerts everytime a free user signs up. Right now I do not get enough alerts to be overwhelmed. At this stage, each notification alert sounds sweet :)

Congratulations on the release and best of luck. I like the various views, specially the mind map. It enables me to take a big project and split it down into smaller tasks down to actionable items that take a few hours each. Nicely done.
