How many people you know who struggle at communicating during performance reviews
Communication is a big problem, especially for people in the IT field. They can code well but when it comes to the yearly performance review they fail and end up not getting any promotion or appraisal. The person sitting opposite the table is quite good at this and runs you down. Can you also tell what problems do these people face?

I think you need to understand your audience. On PH the people are mostly business-oriented (founders, co-founders, CTO, small number of startup enthusiasts) and a lot of marketing people (a lot). The PH can show an analysis on this but so far I have not seen any.

It's a hard cookie. IMO you can everything you have but still you will have to take in some interviews to find out about the candidates. If you don't want to waste your time on this then hire someone who can take 10-15 mins of Get-To-Know call and this person will be able to filter 70-80% of the applications.

Would you build a B2C or B2B?
I have heard multiple times that YC thinks that B2C is kind of hopeless compared to B2B. As per them unless people will go crazy about the product it is most likely a TARPIT idea.

For my startup, I've been focusing heavily on organic content marketing. I know it takes a lot of time and effort, but I believe in its long-term value. I’ve found that paid marketing can feel like throwing money into a void without much to show for it.
