We had a very similar experience. Finished with lower rank despite being ahead of a couple of other products vote-wise... Many of our users are in academia and hadn't even heard of PH before. The good news: your users' support will be that much stronger on your next launch! And, even more importantly, it's better to have happy/supportive users than a high PH rank. Lots of good suggestions here so I'll just pile on one more: ShareTheBoard. I and several of my teammates can't work without whiteboards. STB lets us actually use them when we're remote (which is always). Yes, it's a plug but also reflects the fact that we enjoy our own dog food! More than that: we made the app *because* we wanted to whiteboard remotely!

Nothing beats working from home, in my book. The home-cooking alone is worth it... not to mention the short commute. Just gets tricky with the little ones. I first attempted to keep a "two wall minimum" between myself and the noise-makers. I've since just grown thicker skin (or have hearing loss).
