Hi! I'm Amelia. I'm a software engineer living in Mexico City and building Bookworm Reads (bookwormreads.co). In college I studied Gender Studies and Computer Science, and then went to work in Big Tech. I left that to work at what I thought was my dream job at a nonprofit that turned out to be a flop. When the nonprofit shut down over in 2021, I started Bookworm. I work full time on Bookworm, all by myself, and am so delighted at the community we've all built together.
