There's nothing special. I try to avoid eating sugar, fried foods, and barbecue, and I don't eat late-night snacks.

sugar detox, great idea!
currently I want to lose more body fat. And sugar can easily make you have too much carbs...
@liu_kexin Absolutely! Sugar detox can be a great strategy for reducing overall carb intake, which can support weight loss goals by managing blood sugar levels and reducing cravings. Cutting back on sugar can also help in achieving a healthier balance of macronutrients. Keep focused on your goals and remember to combine a balanced diet with regular exercise for optimal results.

People don't care.
Sugar Free: Food Scanner
@doplac_com I don't agree, we made big research and know what we are doing. A lot of people are interested in their health!
@doplac_com It can sometimes feel that way, but many people do care deeply about their health, even if their actions may not always reflect it. Awareness and education can make a big difference in encouraging healthier choices.
@boris_moris44 They are interested but not caring.

Yeah, sure.
But in today's world and its frantic tempo, sometimes I find myself eating something at fast food places(
Sugar Free: Food Scanner
@maria_anosova I understand you, Maria. I have the same problem sometimes, but now I'm trying to control everything I eat and our app helps me a lot. Especially with sugar!
@maria_anosova I totally understand. With today's fast-paced lifestyle, it's easy to end up eating at fast food places occasionally. Finding a balance is key, and it's great that you're mindful about your food choices when you can be.
I have been always thinking that I eat too much sugar per day, the app seems to be a great help to reach the balance in my daily meal :)
Everyday! It’s incredible how much sugar and now GMO’s that food has. Also love this idea for an app, I might try it out!
Not that much
Sugar Free: Food Scanner
@tegan_bradleys1 I also was, but now I understand how important it is. Do you eat a lot of sugar?
@tegan_bradleys1 Got it! It sounds like you're not as focused on checking food labels or being extremely strict about your diet, which is okay too. Everyone has different levels of attention to what they eat.

I'm feeling super anxious about eating high-calorie foods.
@donald_sang Feeling anxious about eating high-calorie foods is understandable, especially if you're concerned about your health or weight. It might help to remember that balance is key in nutrition - enjoying treats in moderation is part of a healthy lifestyle. If the anxiety persists or impacts your daily life, talking to a healthcare professional or a nutritionist could provide guidance and support tailored to your specific needs. Take care!
Yes, you only have one health!
@marvin_maendle Absolutely! Taking care of our health is essential because it affects every aspect of our lives. It's worth investing in good nutrition and healthy habits to ensure we can live our best lives.
When it comes to food, I try to be mindful about what I eat. Reading ingredient lists has become a habit, especially to avoid added sugars and ultra-processed stuff.
@andrew_turner4 That's a great approach to food! Being mindful of ingredient lists and avoiding added sugars and ultra-processed foods can support healthier eating habits. Keep up the good work!

Yes! One of the the things I’m most grateful nowadays is having a dietitian for a mom. It drove me crazy when I was younger seeing the junk other kids would bring to school, but now I’m very thankful I was raised learning how to eat properly. Your health is wealth! You can spend your life in the gym but can only get so far without a good diet

Hey, I'm glad someone started this discussion here on Product Hunt.
I have a bachelors degree in Sports training and science and with that I learned a lot about nutrition.
People think that good, quality food only makes you look good, but that is actually the second best thing it does. The first is that it makes you feel super good about yourself and way more productive also.
Whenever I eat crap (fast food, sweets, alcohol, ...) I feel bad and I can't concentrate on my work at all. I literally feel stupid.
That is why I prioritize whole foods (single ingridient - ex. banana, chicken, asparagus, blueberries, ... you get the point).
Because I eat like this 95% of the time I look good, I feel good, I move better, I'm more confident and another plus side, I literally can't get sick.
If you need any advice on nutrition or training you can contact me on any other platform and I will be happy to help.
Sugar Free: Food Scanner
@luka_brzin Wow, that's actually amazing! I agree, I do the same, I eat junk food only at holidays, to avoid feeling stupid))
Try our app, I think it can help you in your job!
And of course I'll send this message to our CEO!
@boris_moris44 I really like your idea. About 90% of products have hidden sugar inside. I love it that your app isn't just MyFitnessPal with a twist.
I don't know the market but I feel there is a demand for such an app. Great idea!
@luka_brzin Thank you for sharing your perspective! It's clear you've experienced firsthand the powerful impact of nutrition on both physical and mental well-being. Prioritizing whole, single-ingredient foods has numerous benefits beyond just physical appearance. Your commitment to this approach not only supports your health but also enhances productivity and overall quality of life. Your offer to provide advice on nutrition and training is generous and much appreciated! 🌟
Unfortunately no, I'd like to, but I never managed to actually do it, I have an odd feeling that 50-year-old me will regret that...but that's his problem I guess.
@fady_bark It sounds like you're aware of the importance of reducing sugar intake but find it challenging to implement consistently. It's never too late to start making small changes for your future health. Taking steps now can help mitigate potential regrets later on.
Yes, I understand very clearly that only with proper nutrition I can feel good. That's why I often follow different diets and thus do not saturate my body with bad elements. Therefore, the most useful for me now is this plan https://betterme.world/articles/..., which helps me better understand certain products and how they affect my body
Sugar Free: Food Scanner
@mia0davis I do the same, but I ran into the problem that even when you are on a diet, some foods contain hidden sugars that can sometimes (not always) have a negative impact on your health. Try our app, I think it can help you to avoid this problem!
@mia0davis It's great to hear that you're mindful of proper nutrition and the positive impact it has on your well-being. Keep up the healthy habits!
