im trying to gauge all founders who have onboarded students for short-term projects/internships (1 month - 1 year max). Firstly, what tasks did you give the student? Was the overall impact positive negative or neutral, and what were some factors that led to that conclusion?

Bringing on students for short-term projects can be a mixed bag. They often bring fresh perspectives and energy, which is great, but also need quite a bit of guidance. If you're lucky, it's positive and they add value; if not, well, you get some free "mentorship" practice.
