For quick sizzle reels (under one minute), I use ScreenStudio (only works on Mac) to record the product in action, embed the clips in Keynote to add captions and animations, export the Keynote as an self-playing .MP4, and then use Adobe Express to add the audio track and adjust playback speed. This process is quick, easy, and very cost-effective!

For interactive demos, I've used Arcade and StoryLane, which are both very easy to use. (Arcade's free plan includes 3 free published recordings).

I think the best approach is a clean Loom video. It feels personal and authentic, with someone walking users through the SaaS product step by step in a live demo. While animations and fancy effects can look cool, the real focus should be on helping users understand the value and purpose of the SaaS.

Having a real person explain everything in a clear and relatable way through a Loom video is, in my opinion, the most effective strategy to resonate with your audience and showcase the product’s benefits.
