Hey community, I’m on the brink of launching my independent project and I'm at a crossroads about creating an intro video. As many of you know, producing a video can be time-consuming and costly, and I’m debating whether it’s worth the investment. I'd love to get your thoughts on a few things: 1. How important is an intro video when launching on PH? 2. What type of video do you prefer? Do you lean towards a highly polished, creative video or a simple, clear demo? 3. Video length: I’ve noticed many product introductions exceed three minutes. How many of you actually watch the entire video? What’s the maximum length you find acceptable? Your insights will be invaluable. Thanks in advance for your feedback!

An intro video can complement your written content and provide a more comprehensive understanding of your product. It’s a valuable addition to your marketing toolkit

@mukesh_kumar_das Exactly, since I focus on the technical and design aspects, I don't have much experience in marketing. I hope my video will make my product stand out even more.

An intro video can really grab attention and make your product stand out. It’s a great way to showcase what makes your product unique in a visually engaging way

No if you have (or are) a good writer. Videos make web pages too large, and people are not always in a comfortable place to listen to what it says. You cannot miss with a good text.

@simplytedel Thanks. I once uploaded a 1080p video to my homepage, and it made my site incredibly slow. Good text is truely important!
