We all use community platforms on a day-to-day basis (hm..hm..PH) and I have noticed that many talks about the different values and experiences a community platform offers to its audience. I would like to hear your feedback about some of the community platforms you use on a daily basis and what are some of their positive and negative aspects. Here are my top 3 picks. (From most favored to least) 1) Product Hunt (I recently registered here so I won't have much to say but the least) Pros: Real/True engagement, and qualitative feedback. Cons: Lack of exposure? (I haven't been here for long enough, but I feel like some of the content here could have been more exposed to other networks, correct me if I am wrong) 2) Twitter (Yes, it's a social network, however, from my experience it offers you to build a sense of community around your product if conveyed properly). Pros: Easy outreach and engagement to your target audience. Cons: Some of the feedback received is obscure, vague, and very self-opinionated. 3) Discord (Although a voice-communication tool, and the majority of the users are gamers). Pros: For now the only go-to solution to voice chat with other gamers. Very customizable when it comes to building your own community. Cons: No exposure, private, lack of moderation. Some of my own experiences and opinion are mentioned above. What is yours?
