One of the most valuable KPIs to track for content performance is conversion rate, as it directly measures how effectively content drives desired actions, such as purchases or sign-ups. This metric provides clear insights into the content's impact on business goals, helping to optimize future strategies
When measuring content performance, my favorite KPI to track is engagement rate. This metric captures the essence of how well the content resonates with the audience, going beyond mere views or clicks. Engagement rate encompasses various forms of interaction such as likes, shares, comments, and time spent on the content. It reflects the depth of connection and interest the audience has with the content. By focusing on engagement, I gain insights into the effectiveness of the content in sparking conversation and fostering a community, allowing for more strategic adjustments in future content development. This holistic view ensures that content not only reaches an audience but also creates meaningful interactions that drive brand loyalty and awareness.
Conversion from the content to the website to the checkout. After all, it is all about bringing in buyers, so I want to look at the journey from the content to money.
Engagement rate always stands out to me.
Scroll depth has been a go-to for me.
I think the engagement rate is a great KPI to track because it reflects how well my audience is interacting with my content
I tend to check click-through rates first. If no one's clicking, the content isn't hitting the mark
Time spent on page is what I find most useful. What do you think?
I always track lead generation.
Conversion matter most to me If content drives actions, it's working.
