AnnounceKit - Announce product updates like a boss 😎

Thanks for hunting, @chrismessina 🙌 Hi folks! 👋 Here is our honest story… About a year ago we were looking for a way to announce product updates of our SaaS product. We came across Headway and thought “Wow, it’s super simple and looks great. We can build the same service in a month or two. It would be a great side-project for us.” - We were wrong 😁 First of all, nothing is as simple as it looks. Especially, if you are a passionate maker, and spend weeks on details. It took us 6 months to create an average product. And we still have too much to do. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Many thanks to our users who gave us hundreds of feedback and helped to improve our product. 🙏🏼

Such a great tool. Started using it a number of months back as a marketing tool to promote news, blog posts, etc. on our homepage. Watched the numbers pretty closely and it kinda blew our mind with how effective it was. The team has been awesome at listening and implementing ideas and features. Highly recommend.

I've signed up our product (this amazing top secret tool) a few weeks back but haven't used it yet. All I can say is that they care about us, users, and they show it. I had a few doubts and reservations about the tool, skepticaly wrote to them, and Ekin helped straight away.

Love the tool! They did a great job and I found they offered a lot more than other alternatives e.g. Headway, etc. They also listen to feedback and their users well as they implemented a feature suggestion I had in almost no time (embeddable changelog) and were quick to answer questions/fix bugs in regards to that update!

Wow guys what a beautiful site you've created, I'm excited to use the app, because (you won't believe this) but I was *literally* talking to a friend of mine the other day to say I needed a service like this. I was actually going to just go ahead and start building my own version, so thanks for saving me all that time!

I just started using AnnounceKit on http://thoughttrain.cc (you can see it in the lead banner) I'm using it to tell Hunters about a coupon for my product, and so far it's working really well. I'm going to use it for feature releases and announcements too, nice work team.

Pros:

It's quick to setup, and the design of the product is well thought out.

Cons:

It would be nice to have a character counter so you can get your intro text spot on.
