Thanks for hunting @lauriswat, I think this could be a great way for people to get familiar with crypto trading without putting their finances at risk. What was the motivation behind creating the game?

@abadesi One of the main motivations was to test if we could see technical patterns emerging in the charts while trading. So far we are seeing that the price changes in cryptos are super volatile and the patterns are not as predictable as in currency or stock trading.

It's a casual way of dipping toes into cryptocurrency waters without risking anything. A nice way of feeling the rush without losing anything.

Pros:

Fun and lightweight game to see if you have what it takes to trade to the top with no risk.

Cons:

No risk means no reward and there's no way to use real money.

Hi @lauriswat, Nice work. I want to ask a question regarding it, I see when I buy the percent is something like "+.09%", I don't understand is it 9% or .09%? Please clarify

@engmsaleh In this case it's .09%. The price change is not that big in short term so the relative profit is small. However Bitcoin Hero supports leverage trading - you can use it to increase potential profit/loss.

@lauriswat Ok, When I make a purchase with $1000 and sell at +0.09% I get $90 profit? Could you please explain this It should be $0.9 only not $90 ... ? Also, you don't take into account the commission for the exchange itself

Addictive game. You can spot some support and resistance patterns as you trade.

Pros:

Teaches you the basic price patterns

Cons:

Can't scroll back the price chart

Really easy to make money, in a kind of realistic crypto sim

Emphasis on "kind of realistic"

Not totally accurate representation of how the market works
