Hi everyone! 👋 I’m Marc Gahan and together with @olex_green we have co-founded Codis , a low-code tool currently in Beta version that automatically converts designs into cross-platform Flutter code. We are very excited to present Codis to you all. Why Codis? Olex and I came together after sharing some frustrations on the existing hand-off between design and development and its iterations and thought something much better should be in place: - From a developer perspective : manually implementing designs is not usually enjoyed and absorbs too much time. Why not spending the time in more value adding tasks? - From a business perspective : manual design implementation presents resourcing and scalability issues and leads to UI inconsistencies and a delay in launching products to market. What do we believe in? We believe individuals and businesses should be able to build software faster whilst having complete ownership and customizability of the code that is generated. We also want to make sure that we are not locking in users into our platform, but integrating Codis into their existing tools and improving their current software development process. What about the product? We have now released our FREE BETA that enables users to automatically convert Figma designs into cross platform Flutter code. For the best results, Material 2 Designs should be used.
