?makers Do I understand this correctly? The Pro Plan costs $10 per month (billed annualy)? If so, you need to rethink the pricing. It's completely overpriced. Just because Netflix, Spotify etc. charge $10 a month, doesn't mean every x random product can do that too. Don't get me wrong Header.me is a cool product (if more of a feature or yet a product but far from a company that can pull off such prices) but this pricing is almost a cheek. I'm thinking of mobile apps that charge $9 per week.... Maybe I just misunderstood something? I'm wondering about your reasoning. Kind regards.
Robin Kunz
@twanmulder Ok, sorry then its completly overpriced and imo a rip off. Also a subscription for such an app is not suitable. I mean Header.so can be built in a few hours but the idea is cool... So I recommend that you educate yourself about pricing. I would restructure the pricing in favor in of smth like credits. 10 credits for $5 and you can generate 10 images / media assets. Smt like this. But the value proposition needs to be much better. Compare it with other micro Saas ;) Good luck and have a great day

@twanmulder In my eyes $15 is way too much for the current value offered. I know many products that are no longer available after a year, so I am cautious about such lifetime deals. But can also understand that you want to cover running and invested costs, but $15 I think is too much. Rather $4.99 lifetime. Besides that: "Revenue equals quantity times price". Why not just increase the quantity? I think your pricing is currently chosen very randomly (see Value-/Competition-/Expense-based etc.). https://www.cobloom.com/blog/saa... / https://blog.hubspot.com/sales/p...

@twanmulder @boaticus Hi Ken, thats awesome :)! Cool when you find so much value in it, thats cool :) So it looks like you're a power user, but I am not talking about the perspective from one single user groupe / cohort. So, I don't know how much experience you have in pricing, but the current pricing is too expensive for the users of the (likely) largest cohorts. That will probably be 50-80 percent. The other cohorts like low and power users are excluded from that 15$. If you are a power user, I think 15$ is absolutely reasonable and almost very cheap, since you will use the product disproportionately. These are critical usage distinctions that are relevant to pricing. I can therefore understand your reasoning well and even support it, so I find your second paragraph about me simply unnecessary. However, I am not addressing such small cohorts, but rather the whole mass. I hope this point came across. As you may see in my history with other products, I am an advocate of good and fair pricing. So next time you put someone in such a pigeonhole, have a look at his profile ;) I'm happy to pay for good products that add value to MY (= sporadic) usecase. As a sporadic user, 15$ is still too expensive. Regarding the choice of words: That was an absolute ripof, because the price was lowered by a whole 85% percent, which already shows that the first pricing was completely ill-considered and did not correspond to the value at all. In business, you have to communicate honestly and without BS. But here, too, there are of course different attitudes to this... As I know PH is happy to get honest feedback, otherwise you can go directly to your family and get only "nice" feedback and for that such expressions are important; they shock a little ;) PS Your website is almost not reachable and is most of the time down. I recommend to fix this asap. Also Googles PS Insights were unable... So a crucial error ;) Thanks and all the best Ken :)

@twanmulder nice. Can you set the backgrounds automatically in each social profile?
Twan Mulder
@eugenehp Great question! Not yet. The exported images are the perfect dimensions for the different social media profiles, which you'll then upload by hand. This is a feature that's on the roadmap, it requires a little more work because of all the different authentication/API work that needs to be done 😄
Twan Mulder
@goforbg Great suggestion! I'll put it on the to-do list 💪

@twanmulder congrats on the launch 🥳 looks great. Some feedback, hope it's constructive; - Browsing the site it's not clear what the difference is between a signed-up free account and a paid-for pro account. - Jumping straight into the app is a great touch but it felt like "here's a taster of what you can do", it'd be nice to have its own dedicated page once I sign up for the free account, maybe with a handful of fonts to differentiate between non-account and free-account (or as above, scrap signup for free account) - Leading on from prev point, it seems that registering for free account doesn't give me any other feature (maybe these are to come of course) but a simple fix for now would be to have CTA "Sign up for pro features" or something I think you know pricing is going to be an tough one based on others feedback. I don't think it's fair for people to say that pricing is wrong, maybe niche is wrong? If I am designing social headers for my clients and don't have or want to pay for Photoshop. Something like this would be great if I'm doing a lot in bulk. OR if I have been tasked to create a branded header for everyone in my business then this would be a useful tool. At the min, it seems like this is a great tool for the average person on twitter but pricing does not match their problem. Headers are usually something you set and forget, for the most part. Great work though! It looks slick. Looking forward to seeing it grow 🙌

@twanmulder @dustininfinity Nice to see the product here guys. And it's nice Bereket was the Hunter. Good luck!

Congrats on the launch!🚀 This is amazing! I love the new updated page✨👀 Also one small suggestion would be instead of keeping monthly pricing, u could charge for every header, or 5 headers or smthg, cause I mean u don't change a header every month and once u use it it's probably not of use for atleast a few months when u decide to change
Twan Mulder
@krish_nerkar Thank you so much! You make a great point and it's one I've been struggling with as well. Pricing is always a tricky situation. I'll listen to ALL the feedback I get and will then make a decision, thank you 😄
Twan Mulder
@krish_nerkar Wanted to reach out to say that I'll be working on a lifetime access deal. As for now, I've discounted the year plan by 87.5%, which means you can get it for $15 😄
Deep Kakkad
Great product. Really wanted a header like this for myself. I agree with Krish's point as well: price per creative or price per export would be more preferred.
Kemal Goksu
@krish_nerkar I agree with Krish on pricing.
Ivanna Wendel
Awesome collection! Congrats on the launch!
Twan Mulder
@ivanna_wendel Thank you! 💪

?makers congrats! I agree with @krish_nerkar on pricing. One needs to change the headers only so often. How about making them freemium - all but the first one would have the 'made with headers.me' watermark. Wanna remove it? - gotta pay
Twan Mulder
@krish_nerkar @vasgo Thank you! That's a very good suggestion 😄 I'll be gathering of all them to make an informed decision. Rebuilding the pricing system will (sadly) take some time, but I will definitely do that if more people think about it this way!

🔥 Super awesome project, Twan! Congratulations on the launch! 📈 Since I changed my header, more people attracted to my profile and followed me. 👏Simple but effective boost to your profile!
Twan Mulder
@andrasbacsai I'm super glad to hear that! Thank you for the kind words 😄

Hey there from the Pinterest fam @twanmulder ! Lmk if you need any help as ya work towards building out additional headers (we support them only for Biz Profiles) Cheers and congrats on the launch!
Twan Mulder
@fitzmaro Hey Fitz! Would love to find out if there's a specific image size Pinterest prefers (at least 800x250 and 16:9) 😄
Fitz Maro
@twanmulder sure thing! Full details at the link below, but TLDR is 16:9 + at least 800 pixels wide x 450 pixels tall) https://help.pinterest.com/en/bu...
