Hey Product Hunt! Animesh here 👋 Writing bug reports sucks. Everyone knows it, and we felt it while building PlayerZero. How did you get there? What are the steps to reproduce? Can you open the network tab? So we decided to build a chrome extension that would cache the last few minutes of activity. Then, if you ever ran into a bug we could automatically upload that context, create a URL, and Slack that to our team. Bam. Today, we’re opening up our internal tool to the world. And we’re doing it for free. Give it a try today, it has everything you need to debug, all in one package: ✅Device metadata ✅Steps to Reproduce ✅DOM Snapshots / Screenshots ✅Network Logs ✅Console Logs ✅Session / Local Storage Install the chrome extension for your team today and decrease the time you spend reporting bugs to a single click.

Amazing Idea and Stunning Design, Congrats on the Launch!!
Animesh Koratana
@joshua_molinare thanks! We tried to mirror the regular Chrome DevTools as much as we could to create a familiar and comfortable experience. Glad you enjoyed it :) Were you able to explore some of the features like screenshot annotating or local storage / session storage capturing? It takes the experience to a whole other level
Joshua Molinare
@akoratana I played around with it and really enjoyed it, I plan on using it to test my next project. I'll be sure to check those out!

This is the most helpful feature for any developer and QA. Internally we used this feature and it helps a lot. It has good set of things like steps with screenshots, Console log, Network history and Local/Session Storage. which are useful while debugging a bug. Personally i like this feature and using it from beta version itself, and it helps plus saves a lot of time in debugging/reproducing a bug. I would recommend this to all.
Animesh Koratana
@kshirbhate yes!!!! It's been crazy to see how heavily our team uses this before it hits production. I think we forgot how to do it the old way, haha
Maxwell Matson
@kshirbhate 100% Kamlesh! DevReports is such a staple of our everyday workflow, it's hard to imagine a world without it anymore haha
Muhammed Demir
Congrats on the launch 🚀 A valuable idea 👌

@mbdemir Thanks so much @mbdemir! Have you tried out any tools like this one in the past?
Animesh Koratana
@mbdemir Thank you very much! We've saved a ton of time on reporting bugs with this feature, hope you get a ton of value from it!
Muhammed Demir
@maxwell_matson No, I've not, but it makes sense to keep one as an extension. I didn't need it before, but maybe one day...
Muhammed Demir
@akoratana Nice job! Good luck man! 🎉
Maxwell Matson
@mbdemir awesome to hear, you know where to turn if you ever run into a situation where you need to quickly communicate a bug!
Ivo Scherkamp
Great stuff! We already do screen recording to report bugs (I guess as everyone else does...), but there still is so much context missing that you need to add lengthy (and chaotic) messages to engineering. Improving this would help a lot....
Animesh Koratana
@ivo_scherkamp yes!! You're 100% right. We have a screen recording feature built in as well if you'd like to attach a video to a report after you're uploaded a DevReport. We've noticed that most of the time the automatically captured information is more than enough to communicate what happened since each report has the screenshots and events leading up to the issue. Were you able to set up the chrome extension easily? It should only take a minute to set up, and I'd love your feedback to hear how this changes your issue communication workflow.
Maxwell Matson
@ivo_scherkamp This is spot-on! Automatically captured context is such a game changer for bug reporting, I can't wait to hear about how your team likes it!
Paolo De Giglio 🚀
