Hey everyone 👋
I’m happy to introduce a new version of Sampld, which is all about discovering new sounds for all content creators and musicians out there.
Sampld has a collection of quality free-to-use sounds, which can be used for either commercial or non-commercial use. Targeted more towards content creators and video producers, we emphasize sound categorization by moods so that users can find sounds that fit their project easier and more quickly. They're also tagged with genres and instruments too, if you prefer to find sounds that way.
That’s not all - you can also adjust the key and BPM prior to downloading, which further enhances sound personalization. Another main feature is ‘Sync with video’ (available on the mobile apps only), which enables users to pair Sampld’s sounds with videos. Equipped with video editing tools, you can avoid using the video-watermarked version from social networks.
Also, we’ve added the ability to create collections so you can now organize multiple sounds that you want to use in different projects.
Everything is free, but there will be an audio watermark for the ‘Sync with video’ feature. It requires a monthly subscription to remove it, but for the next 4 days, it is 60% off (or 60 days of free trial on Android) for the next 12 months if you use the promo code "PHLAUNCH60".

@florian_pranata_hidaya Congrats on the launch, Florian, Unsplash for Sounds is a brilliant idea! I often struggle with finding good background music for videos, and I think it applies to many video creators, too. I just shared Sampld with our video creator. Do you plan to offer API in the future, like Pexels and Unsplash?

That's not something we've thought about, but opening up our APIs wouldn't be a hard thing to do, we just need to put the mechanism in place for a public use. Any ideas for a collab?

Such a hassle sometimes to find good audio files, this seems like a great solution to quickly find relevant stuff. Will definitely be trying it out, congratulations on the launch team!

I love the idea of having a library of sounds categorized by moods and genres. It would definitely make it easier to find the perfect tone for videos. Have you considered integrating with popular video editing apps like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro? It would be amazing to have direct access to your sound library while editing. Keep up the great work!

Hey Florian! Congrats on the launch day 🚀 The product is truly useful, free sounds in one place is life safer for creators. I had some of my videos banned for using music and sounds which are not free to use once 😵💫 will definitely check it out! Is the collection regularly updated?
@kate_ramakaieva Thank you for the compliment, Kate! Yes, the collection is regularly updated. Part of our team is actually musicians - they often contribute to adding sounds on Sampld. There are contributions from other people too (and we're planning to invite more external contributors), and their submissions are reviewed to make sure they're original.
