with Widgeridoo you just combine different blocks to your desired widget. For example there’s blocks for images, text, health data, calendar events, birthdays, even text from JSON requests and more.

I started work on this app about 4 months ago and wrote it fully in SwiftUI. I wanted it to be flexible and powerful but still easy and enjoyable. I hope I was able to hit this spot. Let me know if you have feedback!

Awesome app! Very well made. Is it possible to support transparent background? A few other ideas: vertical positioning , unevenly sized grid like 2/3 - 1/3, img from url, rendering of webpages in the widget, you could build completely custom widgets that way. Anyways, great app.

@laurids hi and thanks a lot! Transparent backgrounds are not possible for third party widgets. Only apple’s own battery widget can be transparent 😅 but the other suggestions are cool. Vertical positioning and also unevenly grids. I’ll look into it!

Great work Sandro! Just a request: is it possible to let the Current date block display the date using the System language, instead of just English? It feels a bit out of place to have the phone displaying labels and settings in Italian, but with the date in English! Thanks!

@1234567 good point it should definitely use the system language for dates. I’ll have to look into that, thanks!
