I really didn't know they had an app until a while ago, using it a lot (surprisingly). Other improvements with this update are:
* Enhanced sharing! Tap the Share button, or highlight an interesting fact from an article and tap "Share" to create an image which can be shared to social networks and other platforms
* Search improvements: search now supports fulltext lookup and results now also have quick descriptions below them when available
* Lead images: experience Wikipedia like never before with a prominent, contextually-relevant image and description at the top of articles
* Image gallery: tap on images to view them full-screen. Swipe left or right to browse other images within the article
* Read more: suggestions for further reading at the bottom of articles

New version of the Wikipedia iPhone app just went live, with a cool feature around shareable 'fact cards':

Looks great, had expected a much bigger explosion in 'Card' interfaces than we've actually seen. Interesting to see a big player introducing them.
I am sharing Fact Cards with my 10 year old and he loves it

The big edit button is my favorite. It reminds me (and I hope it reminds all) of the nature of Wikipedia. The editting interface definitely needs user-friendly update, but at least I can fix typos wherever I see them.
