I find that 1-hour sprints followed by 10 minute breaks work for me. Some have longer or shorter focus blocks.
How do you handle burnout or creative blocks in your independent work?

How to build links on autopilot in 2024
There are two ways to earn links on autopilot.
Well sort of. but first, let's explore these strategies:
One is ranking a piece of content asset that has "linking intent".
This can be a data visualization or report that provides new, interesting points that's not found in the SERP.
Another way is a piece of content that's often searched by publishers to support statistical claims or...

Getting your first links for your SaaS website may seem challenging.
However, here are some initial tips to get the ball rolling:
1. Initial Brand Partners from LinkedIn or ProductHunt: Just like you, there are other brands looking to grow.
Identify brands that are indirectly competing with you but serve the same market.

Links will still matter in 2024. Here's why:
Will backlinks still matter in 2024?
A question that's always asked in marketing discussions.
And my answer is always "YES" 💯
Backlinks are the web. They are one of the foundations that the search engine was built upon.
Despite the increasing popularity of AI – links will continue to be essential.
Since people will still need to reference data to back up their claims, promote products that...

Before you launch a link building campaign this 2024. You need to do this first.
It's 2024. Now is a good time to review your backlink profile.
Link rot affects all websites where you lose a portion of the backlinks you've built.
Possible causes of link rot are from content updates, redirected blog posts or removed pages.
Good news is that it's very easy to identify link rot. I use Ahrefs for this example.
1. Plug-in your website on site explorer.
2. Go to the...

I worked with a brand that lost almost 80% of its traffic since it stopped building links to their pages. After building a 5-10 high-quality backlinks per month, we started to see some traction and slowly regained traffic overtime - it's still a work in progress since we haven't recovered 100%
So yes. backlinks will still be important for SEO in 2024. However it needs to be relevant to your...

Unfortunately, that's a common link building strategy for websites. There are a few legitimate sites out there where you can build a partnership and work beyond just exchanging links.
But you have to sift through a ton of spam which is quite unfortunate.

I saw a recent case study on Linkedin where they tried to steal the traffic of their competitors by creating AI-generated article.
It did give them a boost in traffic, but declined harshly after that. Putting a human element in your articles will certainly help. Especially if the human facilitating the article has some experience in the topic, which helps with your E-E-A-T score.

If you want to see how well your competitor pages are performing.
SEMRush and Ahrefs will be your best bet.
Both have their own pros and cons.
Ex. SEMRush has better data in keyword research while Ahrefs can provide better reports gauging the best backlinks of your competitors.
At the end of the day, there's no perfect tool so utilize their free trials and go with something that suits you.

When building links, relevance is key.
Building links for 8 years helped me realize something.
If Google suddenly took away the ability for sites to get traffic from search (and it already is).
Will the links you've built matter?
Sometimes we get lost in the race on who has the most backlinks, who can build higher authority backlinks.
But are those links driving traffic? Relevant traffic? Are you placing your links on...
