I have to get testimonials from our users, but experiencing difficulty. The methods I have used so far are:
1. Contacting users via email (Response Rate: Poor)
2. Contacting via Whatsapp (Response Rate: Medium)
3. Directly calling them (Response Rate: Poor)
4. Contacting via LinkedIn (Response Rate: Poor)

Hey @zainab_saeed1
Here are some effective ways to obtain customer testimonials:
1. Ask directly: Reach out to satisfied customers and request their feedback.
2. Follow up after purchase: Contact customers shortly after they've used your product or service.
3. Use surveys: Include a testimonial request in your customer satisfaction surveys.
4. Offer incentives: Provide a small reward or discount for customers who submit testimonials.
5. Make it easy: Create a simple form or process for customers to share their experiences.
6. Leverage social media: Monitor and collect positive comments about your brand online.
7. Use case studies: Develop in-depth stories about how your product or service helped customers.
8. Timing matters: Request testimonials when customers are most likely to be satisfied, such as after a successful project completion.
9. Be specific: Ask customers to highlight particular aspects of your product or service.
10. Video testimonials: Invite customers to share their experiences on camera for a more personal touch.
I incentivize testimonials by offering a small reward or discount on future purchases.
I ask for testimonials immediately after a successful customer interaction or support experience.
I regularly engage with customers in forums or community groups and request testimonials from those who express satisfaction.
I follow up with customers who have left positive reviews on other platforms and ask for a more detailed testimonial.
You have to use all your channels at the same time. Apart from the ones you mentioned, put a banner on website, inside product, inside chatbot etc. You need some kind of offer, an incentive for the testimonial, for most users/customers. Doesn't have to be swag or anything, just maybe 1 month extended subscription or something like that. Also, when using channels like email, make sure your emails are actually landing and that (at least) your open rates are good.
i think surveys and Feedback Forms can work too.
You can include a section in your surveys or feedback forms where customers can leave a testimonial.
Offer incentives and make it easy for them to share.
