Hi, I'm Andreas Klinger, investor at Prototype Capital and former CTO of Product Hunt.
LET'S FIX EUROPE FOR STARTUPS
We (the @euinc_petition
What questions about EU-Inc do you have?
What ideas have you got to improve Europe for Startups?
What feedback or suggestions do you have?
Want to know how you can help?
Europe won't fix itself and it's only impossible until someone simply does it. So, let's do stuff.
What is EU-Inc:
A new pan-European legal entity for startups.
By addressing regulatory fragmentation, EU-Inc seeks to radically simplify founding and pan-European funding of European startup as well as and standardize employee equity options—empowering European startups to scale across Europe and globally. With over 15,000 signatures from the biggest European founders, VCs, and policymakers, this initiative is shaping the future of innovation in Europe.
I hate to say it and I don't want to sound pessimistic (but it's probably happening already :D)...
with all the conveniences we have, we are so fast and unfortunately also comfortable.
So I use it to get information and I think I'm learning something, but I don't know if I'm really learning anything when AI does everything for me.
It's like a modern calculator that gives you the result without you understanding the processes and structures behind the calculations.
IMO this will be a huge thing for the next generations and kids because if they rely too much on AI, they can become either geniuses or very lazy and illiterate people.
Hey everyone! I’ve seen some people mention using Reddit groups to help launching their products, but I’m a bit new to the platform. From what I’ve noticed, many groups don’t allow self-promotion or talking about your own business. I’m curious, which subreddits do you participate in, and what’s your strategy for engaging and launching your products there?
I’d love to hear about your experiences and any tips for successfully navigating Reddit for product launches!
I know that the Product Hunt is at the moment place where most projects are more "corporate" or funded by VCs but there is still some amount of buildinpublic makers, indie hackers or solopreneurs.
Do you have your favourite besides those big ones? (I mean besides Levelsio or Marc Lou) 😅
For me, it is e.g.

Feel free to share these people.
You at least support them this way. 🙂
Hi everyone,
One year ago, we launched on this platform with a vision to transform voice AI. Today, Vapi has grown to 100,000+ developers and recently raised our $20M Series A.
Voice AI has reached its tipping point. We're seeing hundreds of startups, agencies, and developers building innovative voice solutions for enterprises and SMBs on Vapi's platform.
AMA about building better voice products, promising use cases, voice models, and what's coming in 2025. I'll be around 1PM PT to answer your questions!

Here is what happened:
I launched with zero stress.
I didn't send a single DM for getting upvotes.
I found a random Hunter with no followers.
I wanted the whole process to be fully organic, to see how PH works.
I got 85 signups to my app from the whole launch.
I did not get featured on the main page.
Spoke directly with the PH team about how to get featured:
You need an innovative product.
You need clear visuals.
You need clear core messaging of your value proposition.
Your app needs to be easy to use.
Your app needs to be fun.
Things I found out that I DID NOT LIKE:
The bigger the community that backs your launch the better
So basically if you don't have one, you don't get your chance
In the end of the day, people decide if you are featured on the main page
That is ok, but it means that it is not guaranteed I will get my chance to be seen.
I love PH <3 But, as the majority of the "famous" platforms, it requires your whole attention without guaranteeing that you will get your chance. I am not shocked.
Don't stress about it.
Being featured or your launch going well has no correlation to how valuable your product is.
If you launch, find a famous Hunter with many followers.
Give your attention to things that matter, i.e creativity, impact, solving a problem, helping people.
Keep doing that without being stressed about being featured anywhere.
Stay safe <3
Im launching a new product in 3 weeks.
I tried to pick a few that help me with work (e.g. summarising something, fixing or improving the process).
Here are my must-haves:
– bookmarking LinkedIn posts
– to pick colours from websites (a must for graphics work)
– grammar checking and grammar correction
–bookmarking Twitter posts
– for a quick overview of website stats
– a time tracker to keep screen time in check
– AI summarising texts from websites
– analysing Twitter posts and profiles
Of course, I have more, but these are essential to me.
At Portal MMO, we are passionate about supporting independent game developers
Our commitment to the gaming industry extends beyond our platform. As a Media Patron, we have supported major gaming conventions such as Pyrkon
We regularly organize exciting contests that bring together gamers, creators, and gaming enthusiasts. During Pyrkon, participants had the chance to win exclusive 3D-printed collectibles and artwork, with the best cosplay outfits featured in our special event gallery.
Beyond gaming conventions, our indie game development contest provided young creators with a unique opportunity to gain professional promotion. Participants submitted their projects for a chance to win marketing support and business consulting from experts at SuperNova Interactive. The winning project, Shadow Time, received a dedicated campaign on Portal MMO, along with reviews and ongoing news coverage. By supporting indie developers, we help transform passion into business and foster innovation in the gaming industry.
Portal MMO is more than just a gaming website—we strive to be a source of technological insights and industry analysis. Our series, WORLD – KNOWLEDGE – SCIENCE – Virtual Revolution
Recently, we covered the release of DeepSeek Chat
Our website update goes beyond aesthetics—it is a complete reconstruction of the user interface to provide faster access to key information, improved readability, and a more seamless browsing experience. The redesigned Portal MMO is now fully responsive, ensuring smooth performance on both desktops and mobile devices.
Through extensive user research, we identified key areas for improvement. The new clean and structured layout makes it easier to navigate crucial sections such as the multiplayer game rankings
Recognizing the growing importance of mobile users, we ensured that the new website is fully optimized for various screen resolutions. The result? Faster loading times, touch-friendly navigation, and an enhanced mobile browsing experience.
We also implemented technical improvements to enhance the platform’s performance. The optimization of code, graphics, and search functionalities has resulted in a faster, more responsive, and smoother browsing experience. Page load times have been significantly reduced, making it easier than ever for users to access their favorite gaming content.
None of this would have been possible without you—our readers and users. Your engagement, feedback, and enthusiasm continue to inspire us to improve and innovate. Your comments and discussions drive our passion to make Portal MMO the best platform for online gaming content.
We are excited about the future and look forward to introducing even more features and improvements in the coming months. Stay tuned for updates, and thank you for being part of the Portal MMO community!
Most startups start with this mindset: "I have an idea for an app / software / business. It helps users achieve ****. It's gonna be the next big thing."
This is wrong, as:
1. it assumes that you already know what users want (no one exactly does). 2. It doesn't consider that users are not patiently waiting for your app/software and may be already using something similar.
3. used by many founders who care more about riding the shortest, biggest trend than solve a painful problem for the long haul.
If you want to build a great product, think of it differently:
"This group of people have this problem that's seriously affecting their life/work. How can I help them?"
This approach:
1. Assumes you know little ( which is a good point to start from, especially as a solo founder)
2. Is human-centred,
3. Narrows down your target audience,
4. employs empathy.
5. Accepts that there are different other ways to solve the problem effectively. Sometimes the best solution may not be an app or a website.
The biggest merits of this strategy is that you will engage with potential customers, build trust and community, listen effectively, and sell with little to no marketing effort
I feel like Product Hunt is getting that Reddit vibe when it comes to Forums.
After waking up, the new "formatting structure" surprised me.
There are 2 main changes:
1) New text editor for New thread
2) New text editor when contributing comments
This means that you can use , and combine them.

Hi everyone,
We’re looking for beta users for our AI video tool BrewVideo. As it's a tool build for creating product videos and explainers, our primary audience is marketers, especially product marketers at this stage. So I’m looking to connect with marketing communities where they go to share challenges, get help, or stay up to date with trends.
Personally, I rely a lot on podcasts (which don’t help in this case…), LinkedIn through my network, and some Reddit communities like r/growthhacking. But I’d love to expand our reach - what marketing communities do you follow or recommend?
Many thanks!
I am at the stage when I want to formally move my business to a foreign country (for example, to take advantage of better tax conditions, fees, etc.).
Which country offers the easiest way to start a business, ideally to set up everything electronically (without unnecessary bureaucracy, where they ask you to show up physically. 🥲 – It feels like a pain in Europe)
The more information (and advantages), the better.
We're excited to introduce , a new feature of our Sonofa platform. Sonofa Inbox enables you to transform readings lying in your email inbox into engaging podcasts.

I thought I wanted to start a podcast with my friends, turns out I just wanted to use the format to stay in touch.
I travel quite a bit so I have friends in many timezones. Some of us attempted to start a podcast by each recording an audio clips and stitching them together into an episode. We quickly realized we didn't want the discussions to be fully public, however, the format of communicating through these audio podcast-like messages was a game changer.
This is what lead to the development of Roads Audio.
So have you ever wanted to start a podcast? What was that experience like?
