One thing I do a lot is:
1. I go to ChatGPT and type in a difficult question … and them I’m not satisfied with the answer …
2. .. then I go to Gemini and copy-paste the question from ChatGPT …
3. .. and finally I paste the question into Claude as well.
If you've ever done the same, Choosy Chat is for you: You’ll see results streaming in from the models. Once they’re complete, Choosy Cat will choose the best answer.
You can continue the conversation based on any one of the 3 answers. You can share the convo with a coworker, and much more.
And don't panic, yes, there is Dark Mode. I wouldn't dare to launch on Product Hunt without it.
@rajiv_ayyangar Thanks Rajiv! All answers stream in in real-time, so there's no delay.
The best answer is picked only once all the answers are received, so that does take time.
@gabor What is the average response time versus chatting with a single model? Also, how does CC choose the best answer? (or, which AI model is choosing that for us?)
Developing such a user-friendly and seamless experience must have involved multiple iterations. How many iterations did it take to perfect the signup flow and achieve a smooth user experience?
Hey Gabor,
Choosy Chat sounds like a useful tool for comparing AI responses. I'm curious how it determines which answer is "best" - what criteria does it use?
How does it handle follow-up questions or maintaining context across multiple turns of conversation?
Congrats on the launch!
@kyrylosilin It's an LLM-based critic model - that's kind of the secret sauce.
Follow-up questions and context are carried through multiple turns of the conversation, you can pick the best response at each turn of the conversation, and all the LLMs will be given that context.
Congratulations on the launch of Choosy Chat! When working on various projects, I often find that one AI model outperforms the others. This tool seems perfect for reducing the time spent on copy-pasting between models.
The feature that allows sharing conversations with a coworker could vastly improve collaborative efforts in a team setting. Are there any limitations on the number of coworkers that can access a shared conversation?
Congrats on your new app, @gabor! The interface is super user-friendly and the color palette is gorgeous. Navigation is a breeze, making it really easy to use. Can’t wait to incorporate this into my daily routine!
Loving the concept of Choosy, @gabor! The ability to compare answers from ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude streamlines the decision-making process. It's like having a personal assistant to sort through the noise and help find that perfect answer. Plus, the capability to continue conversations based on any of the responses is a huge win for collaboration! 🏆
Dark Mode is definitely a must-have. It feels great to see that you're keeping user experience in mind. I'm excited to see how this helps with productivity and efficiency! Have you considered any integration features for team platforms? That might enhance the functionality even further. Can’t wait to watch this launch and see the traction it gains!
Congratulations on the launch! The ability to view results streaming from different models and select the best answer in one place is such a game-changer.How did you determine the criteria for Choosy Cat to select the "best" answer?
@maka_4 Thanks Maka - It's an LLM-based critic model - that's kind of the secret sauce.
Follow-up questions and context are carried through multiple turns of the conversation, you can pick the best response at each turn of the conversation, and all the LLMs will be given that context.
The name "Choosy Cat" and the cat theme are really charming and memorable! The branding is fantastic! How did you come up with the name and concept for Choosy Cat? Best of luck with your launch, and I'm excited to see how Choosy Chat will impact productivity and workflows for users!
Congrats on the launch! How does Choosy Cat give you the best answer? what does it take into consideration? If I have a scenario question and use gemini as well as GPT and both give me different but correct answers, how will Choosy Cat help me with the best? I'd also suggest having both gemini and GPT answers show up along with a reasoning on why that particular answer would be the best. Just my thoughts 😅
@glen_dsouza_1 Hi Glen, It's an LLM-based critic model - that's kind of the secret sauce.
Follow-up questions and context are carried through multiple turns of the conversation, you can pick the best response at each turn of the conversation, and all the LLMs will be given that context.
When I'm working on looking data for a specific project I usually find that one of the models more often than not performs better. I love this tool as it's much less copy pasting to compare answers.
What projects have you found it most useful for?
@michiel_rauws Yeah I find the same.
I find it best for coding questions, and also for parsing really dense academic papers (via the attachment feature).
