This is exciting! Companies that nails how to collaborate remotely will definitely be the winners.

@johan_forshufvud Indeed. For us this is only the beginning

Hey everyone, I randomly came across this product recently and subsequently reached out to Max and Till to learn more. I was really interested in how they see the future of remote and work collaboration so we kept in touch, so today, I am happy to post them here!

Hey Product Hunters, First of all a big thank you to @neilswmurray for hunting us! We’ve made CoScreen for highly agile teams who want to collaborate more naturally and tear down the boundaries between their computers (watch our video: https://youtu.be/gHI5-ne2F2I). 📖 Problem: Pretty much anyone who has ever worked remotely knows it - today’s remote collaboration solutions provide much better screensharing quality and reliability (thanks, Zoom) compared to a few years ago. But it takes the same frustrating steps to connect and to pick windows again and again even if you're always collaborating with the same people, only one user can share screens and remote control at a time, users have to ask for permission to interact, etc. 🚀 Solution: By turning your secondary display into your team desktop, CoScreen enables you to share your windows with your peers in a single, natural interaction step by drag & drop. They can share their windows in the same way, on the same desktop, side-by-side, at the same time. Each team member has an own mouse pointer and can interact with all windows without having to request controls. It also works great if you only have one screen and you can also chat with each other via audio. With CoScreen, screensharing is no longer a monologue. What once started as a corporate moonshot project and launched via Product Upcoming a few months ago with over 300 sign-ups from small startups to large tech companies, is now in public beta. Let us know your feedback as it’s still an early (and free!) beta version. We are looking forward to hearing from you Till & the CoScreen team

Congrats on the launch Till!

@hrishikesh1990 Thanks a lot and also for featuring us on remote.tools!

Just found out about this. Very nicely made, especially the onboarding experience. There is huge potential for tools like this. It could revolutionize streaming, pair programming, and really all kinds of collaborative jam sessions with remote workers. Will be following this closely! PS: Is there a way this could work together or complement traditional tools like Zoom, Hangouts, etc?
Till Pieper
@alexander_graebe Thanks for the kind words, Alex! Zoom & Co. are still great tools for formal meetings, 1-to-many presentations, and constantly changing participants. CoScreen fills the gap of ad-hoc, informal and highly interactive meetings and so will only succeed side-by-side with them. We'll launch an integration with Slack (any Teams users around?) shortly which enables users to jump into Zoom and CoScreen with a simple slash command depending on the specific situation and so that they never loose their context. Stay tuned!

@teamcoscreen Sweet, looking forward to the Slack integration!

Wow! Great to see CoScreen featured here. I had the pleasure to be one of the early beta testers and was convinced by the concept. The concept is new and revolutionizing. Something that all other tools out there can't replicate! One of the things that is on my bucket list is a Zoom and Slack integration.
Max Andaker
Thanks @peter_weigt! Your input surely helped bring this to life. Slack integration is in the works.

I've have had the pleasure to early beta test this system. Fantastic product with great potentials. If only more people know about it!
Max Andaker
@henrik_landgren Thanks for your support and helping us spread the word!

Potentials for productivity increase is massive, don't miss out!

I love this! It's perfect for a software project I'm working on where there are two of us working very much in tandem on the same piece of code and UI at the moment. This enables us to do efficient Pair Programming without being in the same room. I've never encountered a tool which enabled that level of remote collaboration before. Great work!

Thanks a lot, @kristian_andaker!

Very neat how it seamlessly integrates into your workflow without adding any overhead. Sharing screens may have never been more collaborative. Looking forward to the first projects where I can try this with others.

@benboeser Awesome, go to https://coscreen.co once you're ready
