Freemium vs Free Trial: Which is better for your SaaS product?

We're currently considering a rebrand of our pricing strategy, including our Freemium plan. However, we're debating whether or not to continue with the Freemium plan. We would appreciate your thoughts on this matter.

As a user, I'm personally not a fan of free trials, specifically when companies ask for a subscription to access the free trial. I prefer freemium much more!

I’m using both. Lyrist offers two tiers. Users can purchase a Plus membership which comes with a free trial.

I don't have a SaaS product but i prefer Freemium.

Freemium allows users more time to trial and test the software. It allows to build a relationship with the brand, and eventually lead to a long-term sale. Usually with free trials, customers cancel the trial once it ends.
