Kudos - Cotton cush for baby’s tush

by
Kudos is the first and only disposable diaper where baby’s bum touches 100% cotton all day. Combined with patent-pending DoubleDryTM tech, these diapers are a real game changer when it comes to protecting baby’s sensitive skin, the planet, and your couch ;)

Hey Everyone 😀, Big thanks @justinkan for hunting us! 💡 While working as a manufacturing engineer at Procter & Gamble, I saw first hand how much plastic goes into baby diapers; in fact, diapers are the 3rd largest contributor to landfill waste. Surprisingly, with most diapers out there (even the most natural ones), everything that touches your baby’s skin is 100% plastic. This inspired me to build the most natural diaper on the market that did not make any compromises on performance - after all, no one wants to deal with a diaper blowout, no matter how natural a diaper is. 🌱 Kudos is the first and only disposable diaper to have earned the cotton natural seal for having your baby sit in 100% breathable cotton all day. Not plastic. Kudos diapers are made with 4x more plant-based materials than the leading disposable diaper and are free of harmful ingredients. Kudos’ patent-pending technology is a game changer when it comes to diaper rash, which our early adopters are ecstatic about. 🎁 For those of you with kiddos in diapers, I’d love for you to give Kudos a try and let me know your thoughts. @justinkan @saigal88 I didn't know diapers were the third largest contributor to landfill waste. Well done.

Kudos is the first and only disposable diaper where baby’s bum touches 100% cotton all day. Not plastic. Why cotton? It’s naturally soft and sustainable, and it’s the #1 doctor-recommended material for those suffering from rash or eczema. Combined with patent-pending DoubleDryTM tech, designed with two moisture-trapping layers instead of the traditional one, these diapers are a real game changer when it comes to protecting baby’s sensitive skin, the planet, and your couch;) Highlights: 100% cotton: Kudos is the only disposable diaper lined with 100% cotton. Cotton is clinically proven to be hypoallergenic and gentle on sensitive skin. 4x the green: Kudos diapers are made with 4x more plant-based materials than the leading diaper brand. We’re talking cotton, sugarcane, and trees. 2x the layers: The Kudos team of former MIT and P&G engineers designed our patent-pending DoubleDry tech with two absorption layers instead of one to prevent sneaky leaks. I love the amazing work Amrita does (she's been recently featured in TechCrunch). Give this a try!

Nice idea! How organic are these diapers though? And where does the cotton come from? I understand the eco-friendliness of this move but cotton may imply other controversies

@rubenwolff Great questions! We wrote up two blog posts to answer both these questions! Our cotton is sourced from the US. Here is a blog post describing the details of our cotton: https://mykudos.com/blogs/news/u... Here is a blog post that does a deep dive into each of the materials used in our diaper: https://mykudos.com/blogs/news/k... Let me know if you have any further questions. Amrita

This is awesome! I am not a mom yet but I'm already thinking of the environmental impact of diapers when I do have kids. I've been working to cut down my plastic use more and more (Stasher bags, biodegradable/reusable sponges, shampoo bars). I know there are re-usable diapers but this is a more accessible option for a lot of moms who are struggling with time.
Amrita Saigal
@sarah_wright7 I love that you are taking all these steps to reduce your everyday plastic use. All these changes add up to be quite a lot over time - so THANK YOU!
