I recorded samples with quicktime where I selected the normal microphone option for one test and the utterly microphone option for another. I then created some noises that may come up in my daily life and I was not very impressed with the results. I couldn't hear much of a difference really.
Besides that I see a big problem with your freemium pricing model. You want free users to be impressed by the service so that frequent users will jump on board and pay for the service. The separation between free and paid needs to be clearly defined so the user knows what he/she will get for paying. This is the case with krisp where I can use the full service for a limited time. If I need more time than that, I can pay for it. With utterly it's not clear at all. I can use it as much as I want but the quality of the noise cancelation is not great for free users (?). That means I will be less impressed with the service and less psyched to pay for it. At best you will get those users who don't want to pay for it. Since your paid service costs as much as krisp, I'm motivated to go with the service that has been around longer. Honest question: What's your sales pitch why a user would pay for your service given that krisp exists?
