GoRetro takes your development team's agile game to the next level with engaging, data-driven sprint planning, monitoring, retrospectives, and reviews. Get ready to sprint to success like never before!
Hey there! Nevo, CEO of GoRetro, here to share our latest evolution 𧬠as a sprint management tool π
Two years ago, we launched GoRetro to revolutionize
remote team retrospectives during the pandemic.
Since then we've helped thousands of teams run engaging and effective retrospectives.
But we heard our users loud and clear
π£ retrospectives are just the start.
The entire sprint process is a challenge which directly impacts their ability to deliver value. That's why we're thrilled to introduce the new version of GoRetro as a
π Sprint Management tool! π
Here's how GoRetro can help:
β Retrospective - collaborative & effective sprint meetings (also great for sprint reviews and post mortems)
β Capacity calculator - gauge your team's capacity when planning sprints
β Planning Poker - make task estimation fun and engaging
β Sprint Monitoring - keep track of your sprint's progress and identify bottleneck.
And more useful tools are coming soon!
GoRetro has been helping thousands of teams worldwide achieve their sprint goals faster and on time.
I am grateful for the support of our community, which has helped us shape the future of agile delivery. If you havenβt already, try it out for yourself and start running more productive sprints today.

This is awesome! GoRetro seems like it could really revolutionize how development teams approach sprint planning and retrospectives. Love that it's data-driven and helps teams monitor their progress towards success.
In our dev team, we really wanted a tool to manage our sprints and retros. But all existing tools were either too heavy and complicated or too simple and not designated for the use-case. I love what you offer in GoRetro, really seems to nail it on features' offering and simplicity. Can you share more about your roadmap for the next couple of months?
@maritamar thanks for the detailed feedback ππ» Next in line we have a Task Assignment feature where based on the team's data you can auto assign tasks, and get insights on your planning (e.g. priority and complexity distribution, developer-component match, etc.)
@maritamar oh yeah! we have something cooking on this - staring from utilizing LLM to create meeting summaries. One of the things we found is that retro summaries are very important for teams and for managers, they want to know whats going on and what is the sentiment.
@tom_bitton thanks Tom! our Sprint Monitoring feature allows you to see a detailed burndown chart both individually and as a whole team. It also provides a details analysis about your team's velocity, priorities, bugs, unplanned work as well as a workflow analysis to identify bottlenecks
Big congrats, guys! Great idea - sprint planning can be exhausting for everyone involved. I'd love to hear more about the planning poker, how are you making things fun and engaging? Something I feel we sometimes struggle with...
@irina_haupt Thanks Irina! Predictable sprints are directly linked to task estimations, however, getting team members to estimate their tasks can definitely be very frustrating. With Planning poker we are helping teams have a discussion around estimations, everyone votes without seeing what other members have estimated, then when the cards are revealed the team can discuss and come to a conclusion together what is the right estimation for that task. It's a great learning opportunity for juniors as they'll be able to see how the more senior developers break down a task to estimate it.
Congrats on the launch Nevo. Have been a customer/tester for 18 months and highly appreciate all the work you put into the product. With this tool, it rather feels like a helper than an autocratic blocker like the Atlassian products.
@markus_sigel so happy to hear that, appreciate your valuable feedback! The whole goal of GoRetro is to enable and empower πͺ, not to add bureaucracy π
@or_shani one of the biggest challenges for Scrum teams is to know how to run an effective process. We've built GoRetro to be super friendly and easy to use, with an educational angle to help any level of Scrum teams. Once your team becomes a pro, they can start using data to supercharge their process π―
@matcha_anil planning is a complex process as you know, from refinement, estimating complexity, calculating the available capacity and finally optimize the task assignment to achieve the best results. There are tools and plugins that support parts of this process. GoRetro supports the entire process in one solution plus (and that's a big plus), GoRetro analyzes the team's data and comes up with insights and automation throughout the entire process.
@prathamnandha it currently connects with Jira. Github is definitely our next integration. Our second product for management does include data from Github -see acumen.io π
@nevoalva I wanted to ask a question based on your testing phase prior to your launch. What is the most important thing one needs to consider during user testing and early adoption stages? Aside from that congratulations on your launch!
@dumisani_zulu more context would be helpful :) however, it depends on various factors, such as whether the product is low-touch and self-serve or high-touch, and who the target audience is. For a product like ours, aimed at development teams, it is important to ensure not only that it is bug-free, but also that the entire user experience is smooth and the performance meets expectations. We have high quality standards and rigorously test every piece of code we write. Additionally, we use our own product extensively to ensure that we truly love it.
Way to go on making it to the top Product Hunt launches today! GoRetro has clearly resonated with the community, and we look forward to seeing your continued success in the future.
We've been using GoRetro for a few months now and it's been super helpful for running our retrospectives and tracking our action items. We are also looking to explore their Sprint Monitoring and Capacity Planning functionalities to facilitate our entire Scrum process and make our Sprints the best they can be. Noa was especially amazing in helping us get everything set up and continuing to educate us on the new features GoRetro is rolling out. Great product all around!
GoRetro has done it again! As a user of their previous tool, I was already impressed by the effectiveness of their remote team retrospective solution. But now, with the launch of their new sprint management tool, they have taken things to a whole new level! The fact that GoRetro has listened to their users and expanded their product offerings to cover the entire sprint process is amazing.
With features like the collaborative and effective retrospective meetings, the capacity calculator, planning poker, and sprint monitoring, GoRetro has given teams the tools they need to streamline their workflow, increase productivity and ensure that they deliver value on time. The new version of GoRetro offers a comprehensive solution for teams to effectively manage their sprints, making it a must-have tool for any organization that wants to be successful in their software development projects.
I'm excited to see what other useful tools they have in store for us in the future!
Questions for the team:
What was the biggest challenge you faced while creating the new version of GoRetro?
Are there any plans to expand the features of GoRetro to cover other areas of software development beyond sprints?
@nimrodkramer first of all thank you so much for the amazing review!
The biggest challenge building a self serve product in my view is how to add more value, yet remain SIMPLE. Having a simple retro tool is (relatively) easy, the product has one goal. Expanding it to more use cases and keep the onboarding and value realization simple is a huge challenge.
The next feature we are working on is the Task Assignment tool that enables auto assign tasks to people and provides data driven insights on the quality of your planning.
@eranabramson they definitely can be! The key is to keep it creative, fresh and think outside of the box. And with a tool like GoRetro you can achieve that pretty easily.
