Since September 2023, I have been using 9 X ranking hacks i.e. guarded secrets that have been shared on GitHub! If you want to unlock them, read this: 1. Optimize your profile - Subscribe to X blue - Upload your headshot - Create a nice cover - Link your landing page(s) in bio (don't link your X business account) 2. Followers/Following Ratio - X’s recommendation algo depends on users’ behavioral history. - Unfollow anyone who doesn't follow you. - Unfollow people who don't post in your niche. - Follow accounts with a low following and a higher number of followers. 3. Engaging with others - Create a list of your followers who engage with you. - Create a list of accounts of your size that post content daily. - Create a list of big accounts and engage with them. - Engage less with new accounts. 4. Time allocation (30-40 minutes daily) - Spend 30% of your time creating content - Spend 20% of your time replying to big accounts - Spend 20 % of your time replying to your followers - Spend 30% of your time replying to notifications - In general, give more & take less 5. Visual Content - When possible include images or videos. - Before uploading media, rename the files and include keywords. - If you are posting for startup founders, the file name should include such keywords. - Preferably the content should show numbers. 6. Post Structure - Use slippery slide (keep your readers' attention and successfully slide them down to the end) - Write briefly - Don’t forget to include a few keywords in your copy - Write around 1 topic you are passionate about. - Be authentic and share your perspective. 7. Links & hashtags - External links will shadow ban your post - Include links in the comments section only - Use just only 1 hashtag max to train the algorithm to recognize your content easily and show to the intended audience. - E.g. I use "buildinpublic" frequently. 8. The first 1 hour after posting - Don't engage with other accounts' posts for 3 hours before and after posting; Otherwise, your impressions will be divided. - After posting, reply to your commenters - Add gifs, images or long-form comments. 9. The next 24 hours after posting - If the post is performing great, don’t publish anything within 24 hours; Otherwise, the algorithm will de-rank your post. - The minimum delay between posts should be 6 hours.
